Production Ready BMW 5-Series ActiveHybrid

BMW 5-Series quickly produce new ActiveHybrid starting next year. "Beginning in 2011, the BMW 5-Series will be available in full-hybrid option. We will also expand its hybrid technology to a few other models, like the Series-3," BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer said, as reported by Autoevolution.com, Wednesday (19 / 5 / 2010).

Reithofer added that the support of government action in the form of incentives for hybrid cars are able to create a larger market, especially in Japan. "The market hybrid cars in Japan is soaring. So, if we do not have a choice of hybrid product, you will not be selling at all in Japan," he asserted.
